When Grand Beach Hotel on Miami Beach wished to automate their main entrance and pool doors (10 door pairs total), Dash Door received the call to develop a package which would address both the high traffic risk management as well as overcome the HEAVY coastal winds.

Closing tall doors in high winds and a lobby with stack pressures called for the record-usa 8100 operator to bring the door closed safely. The package was set up for full energy automatic and paired with custom painted BEA LZR-Microscan door mounted and BEA WIZARD header mounted sensors with custom fabricated and painted standoffs – the latest in swing door safety and activation technology. All items were custom painted to match the clients doors and installed / set-up around a fully functioning hotel during regular business hours. Dash Door is always sensitive to the clients need to remain operational during such upgrades.

The result is state-of-the-art swing door automation with an attractive and safe sensor package designed for high-traffic areas.
