Dash Door & Glass | Automatic Door Group was retained for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Terminal A at PortMiami. Dash Door & Glass provided the low-energy automatic entrance equipment, which the team integrated with the fire alarm system to automatically open upon fire event per a preset smoke evacuation sequence. In addition, our team meticulously custom painted all entrance doors to match Royal Caribbean’s signature Royal Gold.
The new cruise terminal, dubbed the “Crown of Miami,” will be the new home of the Symphony of the Seas and Allure of the Seas cruise ships. The 702,392 square foot terminal will include a nine-story parking garage. The general contractor for the project is Suffolk Construction.
