Dash Door will never turn down work at beautiful locations! In the case of the Disney Aulani Resort and Spa in O’ahu, Dash Door was retained to furnish and install hurricane impact glass in six exterior automatic sliding doors.
Dash Door coordinated the fabrication and shipping of all glass to the resort. The glass was met by a representative of our Automatic Door & Glass & Glazing Groups. This representative coordinated wet glazing of all door panels at the general contractor’s facility.
Dash Door was chosen by the Hawaii based contractor as a result of early discussions regarding proper wet glazing techniques for hurricane rated impact doors. Dash Door is a relationship based company – while trips to Hawaii are not commonplace, it is not rare for special requests such as this to be accommodated.
