Dash Door & Glass is teaming with Thornton Construction Company in a $40-million renovation project, to help build a first-of-its-kind center providing comprehensive behavioral and primary healthcare to Miami’s most vulnerable population.
Our Door & Hardware Group has been contracted to furnish and install over 800 door openings. The project scope also includes survey and assessment of existing openings for compliance with code and hardware compatibility.
The 208-bed, 180,000 sq.ft Miami Center for the Mental Health and Recovery will serve individuals with mental health and substance use disorders that were diverted from the criminal justice system. Aside from a comprehensive continuum of healthcare services, the Center will provide employment treatment, educational services as well as housing assistance.
