Dash Door was retained to provide custom access control logic hardware and hard-wiring as required to implement a sequence of operations to mitigate cross contamination between separate “clean room” areas and zones.
This work entailed design and integration of a pharmaceutical type clean-room configuration of a system which ensured that air was changed by the mechanical system prior to the next door being permitted to be opened. Sequencing of door delays and inputs from the mechanical system were implemented – as well as lighting cues to serve as feedback to the users.
End-user training was provided to the facility staff to ensure on-site knowledge regarding use of the system.

“As a project manager, I appreciate a subcontractor that is reliable, knowledgeable, and committed to a project’s success. While working with them on several projects at Miami International Airport, Dash Door’s expertise and excellent customer service approach was evident from their field staff, to their office personnel, to upper management. This proved to be one of the key components to the success of our projects at MIA.”
