West Palm Beach Penthouse Residence – Custom Entrance

Client: Penthouse Owner

West Palm Beach, FL

Dash Door’s Specialty Service Group was called upon by a West Palm Beach penthouse residence owner to coordinate a Fire-Rated, full-glass – custom stainless steel entrance.  The client had seen the entrance Dash Door provided at the Four Seasons Penthouse in Miami and wished for a similar design.   The final design included custom artwork by the same New York City artist as the Four Seasons project (artwork not seen in pics here).

The entrance required specialty glass from Dash Door manufacturer partner TGP in order to retain the 45 minute fire-rating.  The client had requested that all glass stop countersunk screws be concealed after the initial installation.  Dash Door and our partner manufacturer obliged with an improved and post-installed design which permitted cladding over the existing door glass stops to completely conceal all screws.  The client was very pleased with the end result and effort put forth even after this custom entrance was turned over.  The client request is now a standard option for future custom entrance designs.

Please excuse the construction photos.
